Nina, the  tree is excellent    However there is nothing holding all the leaves together on the right hand side.

Nina,

Once you hitch those leaves to some limbs, your painting will look really good.

Is the light patch between the foreground and background trees a road, a path, or water?  I went back and looked at all the other submissions and it seems everyone did it differently.  If you make it more earthy brown, it will look like a path.  I think a path would give the painting more drama than a road.  Just me talking!

Ok here is my rework on this tree. I added another tree in the background. Don't know if that helped. But I thought my leaves were softer and it needed a tree in there. Also added some more warmer tones to the path. Comments appreciated.

 Thanks Dannielle  :)

Nina,

Smart idea to add the other tree to use up all those leaves.  Looks much better.

Like the textured look to the path.

Great changes - big difference.
