I wanted to try to use scratch board for something other than animals.  Here is my attempt.  I used a photo that I found on morguefile.  Any suggestions for improvements?

Sherri,

This scratchboard is great.  How clever of you to use people on it.

I love it.  Good for you!

I love doing the scratch board but love it when I add color to it.  I used a picture that my cousin took when he went on a safari.  Your thoughts please.

Sherri,

You are becoming the Queen of Scratchboard!  This jungle scene is pretty cool.  Lion's nose looks a little low on the right side and the eye on the right seems to form a triangular shape.  Maybe it is just the way the camera shows it, though.

I like it!

These two scratch boards were commissioned by the same client.  The cat, Smokey, is her son's who is in the Navy. She wanted him to have a picture of him that he could take with him.  The dogs, Tucker and Oscar are her husband's old dogs and he was so thrilled with them.  I have a little glare on the picture of the dogs.  It is hard to take pictures when they are under glass.  Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?
