Sherri,
Great job on both animal scratchboards. The owners must be very happy with them.

How odd....
It seems my posts didn't 'stick' on this thread! Let's just suffice to say that you are doing splendidly with your scratchboard Sherri.
Really beautiful work here.
My source for scratchboard here shocked me last week.... the price had doubled! Still cheaper than Michael's, but what a hit! I was only able to get 4 8x10's to take back with me. Still practicing on the flexible stuff before I try one of the boat commissions. I'll be posing a few questions to Nolan on the scratchboard thread.... need to learn a few more techniques!

to reduce the glare take the photo from an angle, then fix the perspective in your drawing app

Sherry, It just popped again and I looked at your beautifull scratch board drawing and for the dog I was wondering if you could ground them. they appear to be flotting. hope you do not mind my saying so.

Sherri - you're the PB scratch board queen! These are adorable! And the only way to remove the glare is have someone hold the framed picture and tilt it down and away from them. Congrats on a great commission!

Danielle, good suggestion - I will keep that in mind for the future. The client already has the dogs!! I am always looking for advice and/or suggestions. That is the only way I can improve. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Thanks Natalie - I think that the mat and frame going to cover it. I will check, if they don't, I will definitely extend to the edge!!! Appreciate you taking time to comment.

great job Sherri
I agree with extending the body to the edge. Next time you could fade the body out to the edge as well if you don't want to go to the edge

Thanks Nolan for the idea of fading out the body. I think I will definitely do that. Appreciate you taking the time to comment and give me some ways to finish it off.
