I haven't put the colored pencil on her hair much yet, just on that light streak, LOL. I was just testing the values up there.

Thank you everyone. Nolan I double checked the tongue and I may have had the left hand edge a little too dark, so I lightened it slightly. The size seems in proportion with the reference photo.

I have now worked on Beth's hair and added darker shading behind it at the top left.


Just her sweater to finish now I believe.

All finished, I believe! Worked on Mi Tientes Canson paper, size 7 x 7 inches.



The first coloured pencil piece that I have been happy with. :)

Carol this is exquisite.  Color pencils are not that easy to use.  When I grow up I would like to do artwork this good.
