Looks good to me, Louisa. I think you did very well.   I love the look of bamboo. 

I have been planning to do this one, only I am substituting some red palm trees instead.  My neighbor has them in her yard.  They are quite rare.

What you can do is increase the left to right contrast in the bamboos - that will make them look more round. You can do this with a glaze or colour wash O0

Nolan your bamboos are so real looking, it makes me anxious to start your classes.  I will start the oil in about a month though.

Louisa you did pretty good too on your bamboos, it will be great once you have the rounding.
