Dennis...what kind and size is your new brush that you had for the "Dark Photograph" lesson?  It looked so neat...soft, but firm enough for a reliable point.  I have a gazillion brushes that I have bought, and, until you use them, you never know what's gonna do what you want!  I have  'favorite' brushes, but they are small....2 and 3.  I have one 8 Daler Rowney, but it's soft and difficult sometimes to use the point. 
I guess it's in the "eye of the user", but any help would be great.

Retta, I have two of those brushes which I find excellent to work with and seem to be using them more and more.


pebeo  #8 and #12 Iris Series 845 and made in Srilanka -   Red with a silver tip.


pebeo is a very wellknown French make.

Thanks, Dennis.  I've spent so much money in the last three years and should have bought "good ones", but....I had no idea what worked. Ya just don't know til ya use it!  It looked like it had 'body' and the point was firm, so thank you so very much.
