This is quite nice, Mary Lou.  Love the blue hue on the boat.  Nice sky.  And you have that nice "looking-in effect" inside the boat.

This is beautiful! I almost think the blue needs to be a bit darker since the sun is behind it...

Lovely piece Mary Lou. I agree a bit of shading is warranted on the blue of the hull. Very nicely done.  O0 :clap: :clap: :clap:

Thanks Jay,

 I have revised the painting...Straightened the horizon,  I hope...dulled down the blue with shadowing and added a glaze to the sand.  I think it looks a bit better.

Wow, Mary Lou, you have turned good into GREAT.

Everything looks so much better now.  As pretty as the blue was originally, I can see now that it was blinding us from seeing the picture as a whole.

Now everything fits together perfectly.
