Thanks for checking in, Brian.  We missed you and your motorcycles.

I recall you saying about the retirement and the roaming, but wasn't sure when it was going to start.

Sounds like you are getting everything in order to start out.

Too bad RV's aren't welcomed in Hawaii.  Would love to have you stop by.

But, if your RV is off the road for a while and you need a place to stay, fly here.  Best wishes for a happy retirement. and we'll put you in our guest cottage.

Thanks for the kind offer MEA, we were just signing up for ELKS membership and they were describing the ELKS Lodge in Waikiki which sounds fabulous. Who knows? One day?

Brian,

I have been to the ELKS Lodge for several functions.  How can you miss with a venue on the beach at Waikiki!!!

Hope you make it here.

Maybe I'll bring my video camera and we can do another "Paintbasket News" clip to make everyone jealous??
Are we drawing or painting Marsha? Should I pack the easel?
This happened last time we were down there.

Yes, Brian, you should bring your easel - you can teach me how to use one of those things....

Thanks Bellarina,
Marsha and I were in Mexico 2 years ago and the 4 of us spent some nice evenings watching the sun set over the Pacific.
A couple of times the horses walked along the beach as the sun went down. It burned in my mind until I painted that picture which was placed into our RV to replace a faded picture there.
Now whenever we go out in the RV we see the painting and think about Mexico. We have a plan to spend one winter down there sometime in the future once we get on the road full time.
We're all going back to the same place in a couple of weeks to celebrate my wife's retirement.

Congratulations on your well deserved win Marsha.  It was a stunningly beautiful sketch.
