AJ you are doing great,  you probably need just a bit of rounding on the beak.  The eye is beautifull.

AJ,

Wow, the eagle really jumps right off the paper.  Feathers look so real.  Great work on the eye.  Agree with Danielle on a tweak for the beak.

Be really proud of this one! W-O-W.

Excellent job, AJ.  Like the feathers....looks so real.  The eye is perfect, and, I agree with Danielle n Mea....just a little 'tweak' on the beak.
It's wonderful.

I love it.  I have been checking out eagle pictures on line since I have started "painting" on glassware.  Yours is fantastic, the eye, the feathers - awesome...do you mind if i copy it to put on a wine glass?

Thanks Daniella, Robin, Mea, Retta, Marsha and Sally for your feedback   :)  and supportive comments.

I was hoping the beak would get a mention I wasn't happy with it, so it's good to get some tips on correcting it.  I have made at slight tweak, not too much difference but I am much happier with it.  Thanks again for your comments.

Marsha, I copied this from a photo off the Facebook Group "photos for artists" by Chris Allsebrook, he has some gorgeous photos of Eagles and other birds (as do some other photographers) - it could be worth your while having a look at this.    :)

I haven't been on here for a week or so and just noticed Dennis has posted the next upcoming soft pastel class .... a Bald Eagle, I will have to try this one when its uploaded  :painting:
