Brush question...can I use my clean bristle brush used for oils...

Can I use my clean bristle brush used in oil painting to paint an acrylic background??
I know you shouldn't but will it really hurt anything???

Yes you can, I do it all the time.

Just don't use the brush you use for Acrylic and Oils in watercolours  ;)
