Val, I just saw this and it is MASTERFUL!!! I LOVE it.  I recall when you started this and it was worth the wait.  So delicate, serene and peaceful.  I love the grayed down colors in this, it really sets the mood.  More, more.

Thank you so much Lynn. "it is MASTERFUL!!!" I'm going to print that out and frame it with the painting!  :cloud9:

I recently had a query about this painting. I told him I couldn't sell it when he offered $400!!! I was shocked, but apologized and said it was not for sale, so he offered $500!!!!  :faint: I explained that it was inspired by another artist's work, and although there are many variations I didn't feel it was different enough to avoid copyright issues. I'm going to keep it as a reminder that yes, I am good enough.

And to think, this w/c journey started by asking a simple question about a little white boat!  ;D
Now I must get busy and paint some saleable paintings!  :painting:

Thanks Sharon, due to my lifestyle it will be somewhat of a challenge to get originals out safely unless buyers happen to be traveling or vacationing near where I am, so I'm thinking I will look into a website connected to FAA and try prints etc.  That would alleviate the shipping problems I normally encounter. It's difficult enough trying to get things we need sent to us!  :crazy2:    ;D   Hence I'll be traveling back with a rolling carry-on filled with nothing but art supplies!  :yippee: Poor Lloyd, I don't know how he puts up with me!  :drunk:     :2funny:

I know how Lloyd puts up with you - you're a doll and one of the most caring people I know! How fun to have a suitcase of art supplies. And I'm anxious to hear how you do on Fine Art America - I bet it will be a winner for you!
Cheers,
Sharon
