Lovely bright cheerful painting. I love the texture in the bricks, and the flowers look wonderful

Mary bLou,
This is wonderful. I did this lesson, too, so know how challenging it was.
Be proud!

Thanks, Mary Lou. I think we all did a fine job on it because it had a really good composition and was a good lesson.

Thanks Nolan...I will do that. I am so torn between watercolor and oil...when I do oils, I really enjoy them ..Guess I will have to do both!

Wow, a darned good job Mary Lou. You are quite versatile in going from one medium to another. I am still trying to pluck up the courage to try acrylics. Will get there when I have time for sure.

Thanks Patricia. I just find it fun and since it is a hobby, there is no pressure except to challenge myself. You never know unless you try..oils scared the heck out of me the first time but Nolan is an excellent teacher and PB really teaches art well. I took lessons from a professional artist recently and she didn't teach nearly as well as Nolan and Dennis. It wasn't a total loss as I did learn a couple of new things but all in all, you cant beat the education you get here!!
