I quite liked this lesson and painting "chunky," as Nolan would say.  I have to remember that sometimes, less is better.

Ginger, you did a wonderful job on this - love the shine on the pot.

Maybe some more darks on the cut stone to give added texture; same for the geraniums for more depth.

 I agree, it is one of my favorite PB lessons.

it is easy to get carried away with the knife, that is why it is so quick to paint with it, so you have to keep holding yourself back.
You have done a great job. I love the reflections on the pot. :yippee: :yippee: :yippee:
I suggest darkening the shadow cast by the pot to make it stand out more O0

Thanks  Nolan.  Now that I step back and look at the pot, I see where the shadow that you talk about appears to only be one value off of the concrete that the pot is sitting on, this needs to go darker.
