Mea, I'm barely noticing your door panels..... your flowers are exemplary!
They just jump off the canvas, stunning!!!

Thanks, ladies.
Val - I must confess that I gave up on the knife painting on the flowers and had to stipple them to get them finished. I have to learn to control the knife better. The flowers could still use better shading, though.
Patricia - I love this, too. I will try the same technique on other flowers.
Mary Lou - I am quite proud of the pot.

Well done Mea.
It is clear that your flowers are in a sunnier climate than mine.

Thanks, Dirk.
I really like the knife technique now that the painting is drying. There's such volume and dimension. I did use a stippling brush towards the end because I could not control the knife. I just need to practice more.
This was a very rewarding lesson.

well done Mea, lots of lovely texture
also just darken your shadow cast by the pot - you can wait until the painting is dry then do a glaze

Thanks, Danielle. Yes, impressionistic is a lot easier. I'm basically lazy.
Thanks, Nolan. I'll make those tweaks. I really loved this lesson. My friends and family love this painting.
