Annie and Mea, this is so much fun. For those of you getting into scratch art there is a scratch art facebook page where you can show your work and get comments from other scratchboard artists. In fact I have just checked and the page is called scratchboard artists.

Time To Rest
Scratch art on Ampersand Scatchbord 14"x 11"
Details
This one took 12 hours all up but was a lot of fun. I find I can only do about 2 hours a session so it took a bit longer than expected. I have been asked to do a follow up lesson for the people who did my last one and also there a quite a few who missed out last time that still want to do it.

Well, that explains why we have not heard much from you in a while.
Great work on this. Scratchboard art is really your strength.
Keep at it. Your students are lucky to have you.

Mea, Liana, Lisa and Danielle. Yes sorry I have not been around much lately Mea I hhave been busy creating. I have also been getting into encaustic art in a big way. I have run out of scratch boards so I will have to order some online as I can't get them locally. Damn I hate waiting for supplies.

Most happy to hear you are enjoying scrapboarding and teaching it. The leopard is wonderful.
I had enjoyed Nolan's lessons, but I cannot do it when I have a flare-up of osteoarthritis, and at best times 1 to 2 hours create lots of stiffness the next morning.
Jumping head and toes into something is good, shows you get passioned about something. I see nothing wrong with that, sometime it is successful, sometime it is not. But great success only comes with great passion. Same in science.
Good luck! You are doing great and I really enjoy seeing your work.
