That is a beautiful picture of you. Wow, I didn’t realize how big this piece was until I saw you next to it. It’s going to be amazing!

:thankyou: Patricia, EmmaLee and Dennis, I feel that after working on  these for all this time, 170 hours so far, I have got to know them intimately. When I first started working on them, I felt intimidated like they were in my face, now I feel like they are my friends. After all this time I feel an attachment to my work, I have not felt before. Not to this level anyway.

:thankyou: so much Mea and Val. I am having a real problem going back to my normal size of 20” x 16” now. I am about to order another big board for a Sumatran Tiger portrait.

Wow, a Sumatran Tiger would be brilliant fun to paint. I want to try a bigger format, but I´m thinking (or trying to) of a simpler subject to begin. Somehow when I plan they always go out the window and I just dive in!    Ah well, nothing like learning through brimstone and fire!   >:D

:thankyou: Teresa, I have it hanging now.

Val, I find big easier in some ways because there is more room to get the details in. I always try and make my next piece more challenging than my last. Even if it is just a small part of it.
