Zilpa,

Looking forward to the finished product.  Has a lot of promise even at this stage.

:thankyou: Val and Mea, Val I will need to set up time lapse photography. I am thinking of getting one of those little cammeras that strap onto the forehead. Might look a bit funny to the customer walking into the gallery though.

Again, you amaze me.  Having had that one minor adventure with encaustics, I have great respect that you have ardently pursued this medium.

The visitors to your studio must be intrigued by seeing something that very few people do.

I love telling my friends about "Zilpa, my friend, the encaustic painter."  Always good for another glass of wine to hear all about it.

That sounds like a winning formula Zilpa.  O0   I love the colours you are bringing into this. So looking forward to seeing the end result.  O0

I love la chaise longue... what a luxurious relaxing feeling. Looking forward to see it finished.

When I first read the sentence about burning paper, I thought... she is going to set up a fire.

Somehow I feel that given the same effort, one would go for the wood.  It is stronger, sturdier, warmer, more lasting, and definitively richer. Wood smells nice and is nice to touch.  I think working on wood makes your art all the most special and unique.

I love what you do.  :flowers:
