I agree that combining the two has made you unique and you should run with it. O0

:thankyou: Nolan, I have come across a lady in Ireland that also uses the two mediums a few days ago, but she mainly uses the encaustics as a wash with a brush and a heat gun, totally different to my method  of using only a stylus to apply the wax. People keep telling me to get a copyright on the method, but I tell them there are millions using oils, acrylics etc, and this is no different. It is the amount of time my method takes me that would turn others off of doing it.  As much as I would like to sell more art, it is not the be all and end all of my creating. For me it is about saving history of the heritage buildings in country Australia.

sounds great. I agree that it should not be about the money, first and foremost you must have a passion for what you are doing. The sales will then automatically come O0

I have spent way too much time on the sky, but a lot of lessons learnt along the way. The actual cottage is coming along nicely. The owner came in last week and is very excited. She even offered to let it hang in the gallery for a month with the red dot, when it is finished.

Zilpa,

It's coming along beautifully.  How nice of the owner to let you display it for a while after it's done.

:thankyou: Mea And Patricia, I am having a lot of fun with this one. It is so exciting when people come in and say “I’ve read about you.” or “I was told to come and see your work.”
