What a fun class!! We're heading up to Tahoe in a couple of weeks so I think I'll gather some pine cones and create my own painting using these techniques taught by Dennis. Let me know if something needs to be tweaked!

Excellent, Sharon :clap: :clap: :clap: The outside edges a still a bit too sharp - needs to be very carefully softened with a small round brush. Try the bottom left first, and if you are not happy with the result then rather leave everything as is. O0

Have watched this lesson, brilliant. I'm trying some of the techniques from this in my current painting. It's the softening off as you go down the cone that has me intrigued. Can't wait to have a go at the pine cone, looks very much like fun to me!  :heeha:

Sharon, excellent pine cone. If you can soften it away as Dennis suggested it will be awesome!  O0    :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

Well done Sharon.  O0   This is top on my list after I finish flubbing my current painting. Probably should have waited until my arm was better, but crikey it's been too long.

This is just what I needed to see to get me up and moving again. Great lesson Dennis.  O0     :yippee:
