Vidar,
I agree with all, your bottles are fantastic!! The background helps to eye the bottles much more. Congrats.

I'm going to call mine wonky bottles in a row.  I'm feeling a little frustrated because I'm struggling so much but I have to remember I didn't pick up a pastel or brush for over 8 months.

Oh Lisa, I love your wonky bottles.  :smitten:  They have so much character, color, and detail.  :painting:

Lisa, you still did an excellent job, technically    If one is looking down at the bottles, the bottoms will never be flat as you have them (a very common fault) There will always be a rounding. Put a bottle on a table and check it yourself. The higher the viewpoint the rounder it gets.
The other mistake is the top of the metal stopper that is very off-center. Other than that, very well done O0

Lisa,

Other than what Dennis mentioned, I think you did a really good job, especially for having been away from painting for 8 months.

Love the color on the bottles and the well-drawn grasshopper.

Well done Lisa. It does take a couple of run throughs to get back in the swing. Personally, I like your metal stopper...looks like my cockeyed tower in my NZ skyline painting!  :crazy2:    :2funny:   I'm not kidding, check it out!  :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:

Overall, you did a great job, excellent grasshopper.  O0

    Lisa, your painted bottles are lovely even if you feel they are "wonky".  You did a great job.  Patricia
