    Congratulations Marsha, a very realistic rendition of the lobster. Your recent submissions are so good and I would love to know how you achieved such improvement in your paintings?  What are you doing to get such "realism" which appeals to me.  Great job for sure.    Patricia

Thank you all .. . I do not know anything special, Patricia.  I did watch "Lachri's"  fine art on you tube, on the differences of colored pencils.  Very enlightening.  It seems that prismacolor pencils only have a very short life after the picture is drawn.  Her videos explain the differences between all the brands of colored pencils are the benefits of each.  The luminance and L'Aran..something will survive longer than either of us will be alive. I will get you he official name of the pencils if you wish.  They also can be blended with a brush and thinner, which prismacolor can not.  This also gets rid of the wax build up so you can add more layers of coloring.  The only thing prismacolor has is a very good white.  The other thing I have learned is the blessing of the electric eraser.  It erases and does not destroy the paper.  Lachri's Fine Arts is where I have learned this...and her presentations are very fast and free.  She also teaches how to use the different social sites, electronic media
to show your work.

:thankyou:  for that information Marsha. I am familiar with Lachri on You Tube.  Interesting about the different coloured pencils.  Thanks for responding because your work has improved so much over the last couple of months which is so encouraging.
