I was inspired by Val to look for a solution
To her trying to erase lines made with graphite transfer paper.
While researching I found this YouTube video.

Interesting Robin. It's just that I seem to be doing a lot more drawing of late and was looking for a quicker way to transfer. Think I may have a go at this. Seems simple enough....

I made my transfer paper the other day and used it to transfer the kudu.  It worked very well.

Since it was larger than a sheet protector to put it in to protect it, I taped a piece of waxed paper over the penciled side.  I just lift that sheet away to use the transfer.

Thanks, Robin, for posting that information.  What a convenience to not have to pencil the back of a picture every time I want to transfer a picture.

Welcome to Paintbasket.  You won't be disappointed.  Great instruction from Nolan and Dennis.  Plenty of knowledgeable and friendly advice from the members.

As for that graphite transfer paper, it's such a convenience to use.  I have used the one I made nearly a year ago at least 12+ times.  I keep it rolled up in a paper towel tube until I need it.

Yes, that graphite sheet for tracing is fabulous.  I use it over and over.   I may make a couple more in small sizes (4 x 6 and 5 x 7) so that I do not wear out the bigger 8 x 11.
