A day without Paintbasket is like a day without sunshine.

Nolan - I am sure you worked frantically to get PB back on line.

Thank you so much.

the server auto updates it's own software is the background. It is a very slow process so as not to overload the server or cause disruption to the service.

This time however something went wrong and bombed the whole server out. Not something I am able to work on, so was in the hands of the hosting people. All I can do is say sorry for the outage and hope they have sorted the problem.

So pleased to have the PB back on line and your sentiments are well said Mea for I feel exactly the same. Initially, I thought that it was my computer at fault and had to restrain myself from emailing you Nolan for I could just visualize all the messages you were receiving and I didn't want to add to your problems.  Anyway, all's well that ends well.

Thanks for the explanation, Nolan.

Figured it had to be a problem that you could not address directly or it would have been fixed a lot quicker.

Main thing is we are back on line!!  YEAH!

Life in the age of tech, had to accept that.  At least only the server got bombed.  Still this a rare occurance in PB.

Wants to see how frustrated some US physicians and nurses are with their electronic charts?  This Youtube is hillarious but struck a key... we want them to take care of us, not fiddling all day trying to get their e-paper work done.
