After all these months of recovering from 2 strokes, I am painting again and finished this painting a few weeks ago. It isn't perfect but I love it a lot.

Every year in Autumn these Vliegenzwammen, as we call them, are showing up in our frontyard...the only ones in the whole neighbourhood. This year we had 12 of them, but it can go up to 27 two years ago. It is one of my favourite things to take photo's of when we going for walks, or in my garden.

Val and Annie,  :thankyou: both so very much for the wonderful comments, it is so much appreciated.

Val, your words are the best medicine for me right now, they heal and soften the pain and struggles from these last few years. You were always there for me with your encouraging and uplifting words. Thank you so much for being the wonderful friend you are.

Kathy and Steve, thank you both so much for your warmhearted and encouraging comments, they mean a lot to me.
I too am so happy being able to enjoy painting again, I missed it and had a real struggle to get back to painting...but I have been there before, with other issues, so even it is hard, I always find a way back to what I love doing the most.
I do recover very good, the only problems I still have is not being able to walk without a lot of pain...so I am not allowed to walk other then at home, till I get my special shoes...and those will be ready just after Christmas. And hopefully I will enjoy walking with les or maybe even without pain again.

Riya,

So happy to see you back painting again.   The strokes do not seem to have harmed your ability to paint - beautiful work on this.

Hope you continue to recover.
