Thank you so much Patricia, Denise, Mea and Danielle for al the kind and warmhearted words, they are a great encouragement and so worth all the strugling. I enjoy painting again but have to take small steps or I will be put back again.
I only wished life would have been friendlier, my scholarship almost ends...and I was most of it too ill to even realise it. And now in this last month I finally can enjoy the scholarship...so sad
about lost time and challenges.
Have a wonderful Sunday,
Riya

Riya,
You have done great with your sholarship. It was just a gift for you from PB to enjoy as you please and there are NO expectation attached to it.
This is my take on it, and I trust that of other PB members. Life is not always fair and we must all deal with the good and the not so good.
Instead of looking at what you missed because of your illness, please consider seeing what you have.... you have enjoyed a few classes and made great paintings, you have recovered in part from your strokes and returned to paintings (something we all see you enjoy) and you are alive to enjoy every single day when you awake in the morning and see the sun raise.
... and I love your red mushroom (toadstool)
Cheers Annie

Dear Annie,
your words are the first I read this Sunday afternoon, and they make me feel overwhelmed by the love and warmth in them. Your words do mean a lot to me, them make me really feel less quilty about my feelings.
I really was affraid all of you would be so dissapointed by giving me the first scholarship, because of the little I have done. I was sad because I really was so happy and thrilled with this gift and I felt that I dissapointed my dear friends here at PB. But your words have taken away those sad negative thoughts.
Yes, I am so happy and greatful for being alive, for every new morning even when it is cold, rainy and dark because of winter is coming. First I couldn't do anything, I did loos the abillity of using my hands and I lost speach. I had to learn writing again, and speaking, writing was a real problem because what was in my mind didn't apear on the paper.... Luckely my hands started to react on the treathment after a few days, and slowly I could get my thoughts back onto paper. In the beginning it looked weird, sometimes I only knew single words but now I have almost no problems with writing, speach and putting down what is in my head.
After I was back home, I could start living my normal life again, only walking and doublevission, that got really worse due the last stroke, was still a problem and that did get worse. So now I am not allowed to walk in my normal shoes, I have to wait till my special shoes are made and ready..in three more weeks I can pick them up. They are very expensive, and to pay of, I cant buy anything for a very long time. But I dont care, I will be able to, hopefully, walk without pain or with less pain again.
And once my hands recovered to almost normal, I just had to start painting...I just had to know how that worked. The last painting I made and the first I think from this year, was the day before I did get my second stroke. I just had made a few abstracts and then it hit me again...and the second time it worsen and we really feared this was it. But I allready lived through some bad times, and I loved life too much to accept my fate...I just had to try and see if I could do a little more, even it would only be for my partner, to take away his pain, sadness and sorrows.
And right now, only walking and the doublevision that got worse, is the only thing that reminds me of what was happend...and sometimes my speach is bad...but I am alive, and I want to get as much out of my days as possible, so I only sleep 4 to 5 hours so I have a very long day to enjoy life , and I picked up every hobby/craft I had done before...so my days are full, but I love it. I am tired, but that is the chronic fatique from the FMS, and those pains and tiredness reminds me to take a step back, go slowly so I have to find right now my perfect balance...it is looking fine but I need a daily plan/agenda to make sure I don't overdo, take my rest and to enjoy creating whatever I want..painting, drawing, quilting, knitting and crochet, and walking!.
Have a wonderful Sunday, Hugs and Love, Riya

Riya, you have come a long way after debilitating and serious health issues which illustrates the strength and will that you have. You are an overcomer and I applaud you for your tenacity. As I said in another post, keep painting for it is very therapeutic and besides, we love to view your beautiful work.

Kathy, Mea, Dennis, Patricia and Danielle, Thank you all so much for all your warmhearted words. I will keep them in my heart for bad days. You all made my heart lighter and gave me something to think about. I will start enjoying this month and even when I will finish only one painting...I will enjoy it a lot and will be proud of it, because all my friends here are proud on what I do and show.
Thank you all for making my day, it is just past 1am, time to get some sleep. I am sure I will sleep much better this time knowing that there are some friends around this world that believe in me and encourage me to do the same.

Riya, Am just now seeing the toadstool. I chuckled to myself, thinking Dennis must be a mind reader because I recall those gorgeous pictures of these around your house that you posted some time ago. Did he use one of them or is it just a coincidence? Lovely painting and I know you loved doing it. Good to see your beautiful work

Very nice Harald, I would suggest a shadow on the stem to complete this.
