No, it's sealed in there pretty tight now. I think as long as you make sure your previous coat of gel is completely dry, then the one last coat should do it - I hope!

Jeannie, here are
Texture Gels
and
Texture Pastes
that work well
Beautiful work Sherri
The only thing that bothers me is the shell placement. It isn't random enough, you need some shells to touch each other, other to group together and so on. A good way to get that is to pick up a handful and sprinkle them over the canvas, where they fall, you stick them down. If you still have a few shells left, stick a few closer or touching others

Thanks Nolan. I do have some shells left. I will put a couple more on and try to fix the randomness.

Sherri,
Your surf lapping the shore is nicely done.
Yuh, I have a tough time with randomness, too!

I added some sea shells trying to group them. Better?

Sherri.
Maybe there are just too many, especially the lower left corner.
Keep maybe a few singles and a couple odd groupings.
The rest of it looks great, especially where you have the water over the sand. I couldn't make that work for me at all.

Sherri, I had a difficult time with the "randomness" too. Seems like it should be so simple right!?
Even when I just threw the shells on the canvas it still didn't look random enough!

Sherri, your water and the water's edge looks great. I haven't done the lesson so can't offer any advice but I think you have done a good job this far.

Thanks Patricia.
Denise I have to be real careful or I get all kinds of "ducks in a row"
Thanks Mea. I don't think I can get any shells off. I got them really glued down.
this is a good lesson learned!!

it is better Sherri, but would require more shells to complete the effect because there is no way you can remove any of the shells now. That is one thing - once you have stuck them down, they ain't going nowhere
