Wow, Nolan, that looks so realistic.  Great stonework.  Gotta check this class out.

You can't see it on the photo, by the windowsill is almost 1 inch (2cm) in height off the canvas

Shucks, I can't peel off the paper lining from the foam board. Hopefully I can find a different type tomorrow.
Mea, I got mine from Fisher so you may want to avoid getting yours from there...
In the meantime Ill just enjoy watching the video 😊

Thanks, Denise.

I just pulled some paper off the foamboard I bought at Walmart a while back.  Think that'll work for me.

I just watched Nolan's lesson on painting wood grain so I should do well on that part.

Denise, just use a little texture paste to get the grouting / cement effect O0

Thanks Nolan, it was easy enough to get another piece of board. Now I'm all set...good to know about the texture paste just in case though.

ugh! fooled again by foam board! lol. Well, the top corner of my new foam core board tore of easily - about 4 inches of it  :-\.
So, seems I will have to resort to the texture paste after all Nolan  ;D

hmm, not good, there must be two different kinds of foam board then :-\

Anyhow just add a thin layer of texture paste and that will replicate the softer foam O0 :gl:
