Thanks Nolan, here's what I have so far with the window thingies in the wrong place
I'm thinking of including the cat but do you think it would look a little odd? I plan to cover up her feet with some ivy from the pot. Maybe some baby roses too.
Her name is Foxy - one of over 200 cats at the shelter I volunteer at
Looking forward to any advice you or anyone else may have, thank you!

Interesting piece, Denise.
Cool the way the hinges on the shudder at the top look like sunglasses on a wolf. Great cobblestone look to the stone wall.

I don't see any problems at all with the work you have done, it looks awesome
I like the idea of the cat, except the cat vs pot proportion is wrong. You would need to make the cat bigger and the pot smaller

Is this proportion better? I'm having a hard time judging the correct size.

Wow nolan, thank you for creating these mm classes! I thoroughly enjoyed them and learned so many new techniques to play with
Here's my window, any suggestions? Maybe adding the cat wasn't the best - I just couldn't resist trying!

That's the beauty of these mixed media lessons, you can experiment. I think it's the size of the cat and pot of flowers that seem to be competing for attention.
It's really a lovely piece.

Beautiful Denise and I can't wait to start on the Mixed Media classes when they come over to the new section. You are really excelling at it. I love the inclusion of the cat but thought that if it were a tad lighter, it would not be lost in the window. Just my thoughts.

I love it and the fact that the cat is so discrete... it is really what cats are.
It is funny but if I would do something different it would be to reduce the size of the
volet
( the piece of wood attached to the window) to about 1/2 the size if the window. So it is closer to 2/3 1/3.
No sure why I find it a bit too overwhelming in all of them, not just yours... most likely just my preference.
Saying that they are all really fantastic pieces of work.... and I know I will do mine exactly as the lesson.

You have done a superb job with this Denise
I love the addition of the cat, it adds an element of cuteness to the artwork
