Amazing article about this book, written in 1692, about mixing watercolors, with colors samples throughout. And within the article you can find a link that allows you to view the entire book online. Now, if only we could read the 300-yr-old Dutch words!

Wow!!! What a work of art in itself!  A whole lifetime must have been devoted to creating that - I am awed by the man's tenacity and devotion, thanks for sharing this one  :)
