She is lovely.  Wow, you took on quite an ambitious piece.

Her blue eyes are so pretty.

If you have not given her the painting yet, you might want to sink her right eye a bit under the lid.  It look like it is on top of the lid.  And maybe add some shading to her forehead.

Your niece is going to be so excited about this.

Wow, great, she is stunning!!!

Just shade the top of her forehead a bit and it will look less prominent.

Glad you figured out how to post it.  She is beautiful.

It takes a lot of practice, but as you go along you will start to spot smaller changes in tonal value. With portraits you often need to enhance these tonal contrasts to get the painting the depth you see in the real person. You then end up painting your contrasts like on the right hand side here:
