Patricia,
Great job on the cross-hatched fish.
I'm trying to work up the courage to do this lesson, but I have a cross-hatching aversion! Must conquer it, though.

Mea, I understand what you are saying about cross-hatching. However, like all the lessons, it was interesting and enjoyable. So give it a go, you will learn and conquer your aversion at the same time.

great job Patricia, just sort the dark lines on the edges of the step
I overcame my aversion for painting with the knife by painting an entire painting with nothing but the knife. Since then I love painting with it

Nolan, will sort out the dark lines of the steps.
There you go, Mea, even Nolan says conquer your aversions by facing your devils.

Steve. You will enjoy the class for cross hatching is so different from normal shading. However, I find that it is interesting to learn all these different techniques.

Kathy, Val and Barry for your lovely comments about my cross hatched fish.
Barry, I wouldn't know a tuna from a salmon for I was never into fishing as I couldn't stomach taking the hook out of the mouth of the poor fish. I am a vegetarian as a result of my love for animals, do eat a little fish but it is negligible.

Patricia: Nice fish. Once you soften the lines on the step you will have it made.

Kathy, I haven't got around to doing the alterations to the step yet, too busy catching up with past lessons but I will definitely get to it.
