This has probably been asked heaps before (if so sorry), but does anyone make their own ink?
I have made some Beetroot ink (see pink in practise sketch below) & was wondering if it fades on the paper over time? and if there's pros/cons to using your own vegetable brew ink. I'm keen to try onion skins, tumeric.

that is a good question.

The way to test how quickly a colour fades is to paint it onto a surface, then cover half of it so it is lightfast. Then place the surface in direct sunlight.

You can check it after a week, month, year, etc.
