Steve, it's a colour I bought. I have one tube of black acrylic. I didn't have much time to experiment and mix colours. I'm not good in mixing colours. I still don't understand the colourwheel theory.   :whistle:

Sarlota, have you seen this colour theory webinar that Nolan did? Explains it simple and easy....mind, I had to watch it ..... a lot!!!  ::)

Val, I haven't seen it yet, but surely I will. Thanks. I am now working on a rather larger painting, but still without having understood the colourwheel.
It is magnolia painting. There are so many magnolia trees in blossom in our town, that I couldn't resist and had to paint it.  :)

The painting is 50x70 cm large

This magnolia painting is so pretty.  Great blending on the petals.  The background sets the blossoms off beautifully.
