Patricia, your gorilla is gorgeous! He has such a soulful expression. I can almost feel his fur because he looks so lifelike.

Danielle, I wish I was an energy bunny, I could do with some of his batteries to get me moving!
Mea, thanks for the compliment about my new avatar. A change is as good as a holiday.
Fi, I had to laugh about the gorilla's expression reminding you of your late husband when he was thinking. I have seen a lot of people frown when thinking deeply - the anthropoids are so human-like and are rather fascinating. Thanks too for your encouragement. I enjoy pastels and find them very forgiving.

Sorry I missed this painting.....it's WONDERFUL!!! You really captured the feel of the picture, and the gentleness in his eyes of this magnificent animal. Great job, Lady.
