Thank you Dennis for another interesting class.  I felt a little "out of my depth" with this one but I tried.  Comments and critiques are always welcomed and valued.  Thank you, Patricia

:thankyou:  so much Kathy. I really struggled with this one and was in two minds as to whether I should post it or not.   Patricia

Great pic, Pat. I'm glad you put yours up...I love it! I will do this one shortly, and was a little concerned how difficult, and you've shown me it is tricky!  LOL
Love your reflections, and the color of the trees is great. You did a very good job.

:thankyou: :thankyou:  EmmaLee and Retta for your kind comments. Retta, for me, it was difficult but a good exercise. I get frustrated with myself because watching Dennis, he puts a few strokes down on the paper and it looks great, I try to emulate him and it looks like a mess. I could not get the rocks right either and the one looks like it has a hole in it.  Oh! Dear. Oh! Well, I tried and perhaps I will have another go at it later on.   Looking forward to seeing your painting and hope that you have better luck than me.    Patricia

Patricia,

Except for the two colorful central trees, the remainder of the painting is really quite good.

Patricia, Patricia. Don't pull yourself down. Your painting does not have to look exactly like mine - its the technique that counts O0 If the rock has a hole in it, so what! That's what most rocks look like - very few are smooth.
Great work

You have done a great job on a difficult subject. Just wait until I get to this one! Then you'll see some wacky looking trees!  :D

I love how you have captured the colours in the reflections and the stillness of the water. FANTASTIC!!!  O0

I would never have known there was a hole in the rock if you hadn't mentioned it... so don't be so critical of yourself.  :nono:      Otherwise I'll have to bring out the   :knuppel2: !!!   ;D

:thankyou:  Val for your encouragement and uplifting comments on my painting.  I will really try and improve my confidence for I would hate to have a taste of your  :knuppel2:  which would leave me  :injured: and then I will be of no use to anybody or anything!!   :2funny:

  Phew, boxing both my ears Val would be better for I am going deaf in both of them, so it would be O.K.   :2funny: :2funny:
