Landscapes are not my favorite but I do love bridges. Thanks Dennis, this was a great lesson again. My sky is not yellow in reality, my camera always picks it up stronger than it is. I opted not to add the person and dog as I liked this painting as it stands. As always your comments are highly valued.

MaryLou...I love this painting. I really enjoy landscapes...flowers, too. I know what you mean with your camera...mine sure looks different than it does on the easel.
Beautiful painting...love the colors....it tells a great story. Like it without the people, too.

Thank you so much Retta and Kathy!
I have tried different settings on the camera and just can't get the colors to come out correctly.

Very nice, Mary Lou!
Does your camera have the ability to adjust the white balance? If so, that should fix the problem.

Thank you Steve. My camera has a lot of settings that are preset which I have tried. But anything more tech than that, I really wouldn't know how to change things. Not a techie at all.

Hi All,
I havent painted along with Dennis for ages and I actually really enjoy painting along with him so I thought Id try the stone bridge. Like MaryLou I also left out the figure, mainly because whenever I add figures I just dont get them the way I would like. I reflected on possibly trying to put a figure resting on the far bank of the river snoozing under his hat but my practice attempts looked very odd
Anyway thanks Dennis and Nolan that was great fun!
