:bigwelcome: Hi John, glad you found us.    Being a watercolourist 'in training' myself, I can empathize with you over the ups  :yippee: and downs  :tickedoff: of hopping in puddles! Dennis is amazing at leading one along the path to enlightenment in w/c. If you follow the recommended order of lessons, you will be in for an incredible learning experience.

I am also a bit of a 'jumper'.  I love my w/c but must try a bit of everything...don't like to miss out!  ;D

The group here are a lovely bunch that will happily help out along the way if you should find yourself in a bit of a pickle.    Just sing out and someone will be along in short order to lend a hand. Never worry over posting a not quite perfect painting, I know I've managed to salvage more than a few with the help of Dennis and the other members.

So put on your wellies and jump right in, the water is just fine!  :yippee:

Welcome, John.

I, too, have done a bit of jumping, but have landed in the WC puddle, at least for the time being.

Dennis's watercolor lessons are so full of valuable instruction. Also, there are plenty of us here to offer assistance and advice along the way.

Jump in!

:bigwelcome: Welcome John. As the other members have expressed, you have come to the right place. The friendly support from the people here at Paintbasket is amazing. The instructors, Dennis and Nolan, are the best. You will be painting incredible pieces of art before you know it.  :painting: The more you post and ask questions the more you will grow. I am a new watercolor student too. Every dilemma and question I posed was answered with practical answers and I was able to move forward with confidence. I look forward to seeing your work.  ;)

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes and encouragements. Before taking on a class I need to clear a bit of photo editing off my plate, but I hope to take part soon. Lots of good and knowledgeable folks here.   :)

John,

Did you check the huge array of LANDSCAPE classes that Dennis offers under WATERCOLOR?  Just click the CLASSES button across the top of the page (top left) under the logo.

You are sure to find something you like.  So many to choose from.
