Oh! Mea, I think you are doing such a wonderful deed and my heart bursts with pride for you, just hearing about the Senior Citizen's art class. They are certainly very fortunate to have you as their tutor and I can imagine how much fun you have brought into their lives. Judging from the photograph of them showing their drawings, one can almost sense the happiness in what they have achieved, thanks to you. Wishing you every success and looking forward to hearing more about your art class and yes, I love the toned tan paper. Your drawing came out beautifully on the tan cardboard too.

Oh Mea, your class looks so sweet and happy!!! Don't we all know the joy of drawing and painting!!!!! This class will surely soon be their favorite time of the week. Great drawing. Love that they are using brown because they can eventually use some white for lights. So great!!!!

Tell your students we would love to see them join us and that we would welcime them hearthly. From all I learn in the last 2 years, one just need a positive attitude to learning art.

Oh, Mea, I'm so proud and so happy for you. You will be a delightful teacher, and a lot of fun. That's wonderful and you surely will enjoy it....and so will your 'students'. They will give you so many reasons that you have certainly done the right thing. You will really enjoy this. Bless you, Sista.

Thank you ALL for your supportive comments. Yes, the smiles on their faces tell it all. Am really looking forward to the next session in two weeks. They want to draw a hibiscus flower.

Congratulations, Mea, for becoming an art teacher! I am sure, that your students will love you, because you are empathetic, caring and patient (that's what I see in this forum as well as from the faces of your students on the photograph
). I think that smudging and erasing were very good technique choice, since it's fun at any age.
