Class Description

In this real time paint along class we will paint realistic clouds in oil.

During the class you will learn :

How to mix realistic sky and clouds colours
How to paint the sky
How to paint misty clouds
How to paint billowing clouds
How to create depth and distance in the clouds
and much more…

For the class you will need :

1) a 16″ x 12″ canvas (roughly 400mm x 300mm).
2) Set of bristle brushes
3) Finer liners and fine round brushes
4) 1cm (0.5″) Soft Filbert Brush
5) Painting Knife
6) I estimate using these colours during the lesson : Titanium White, Cerulean Blue, Paynes Grey, French Ultramarine, Cadmium Red.

    as usual a very good demo. I could not paint the clouds very well. I think it is not for me. I will stick with landscapes and seascapes Thank you anyway.

      for the longest time I also battled with painting clouds. It seems like it is skill that you just need to keep plugging away at in order to master. At least you have someone to point you in the right direction 😉
