Painting on Feathers

In this real time paint along class you will learn to paint on feathers.

During the class you will learn:
1) Which feathers are good to paint on and which aren’t
2) How to prepare your feathers for painting
3) How to mount your feathers
4) How to paint on the feathers
5) How to protect the feathers

For the class you will need :

1) Turkey or other broad Feather(s)
2) A box canvas on which to mount the feather(s)
3) Titanium White, Raw Umber, Alizarin Crimson, Yellow Ochre, Cadmium Yellow, Paynes Grey, Cerulean Blue
4) Fineliner brush
5) Glue Gun
6) Low Tack Masking Tape
7) Scrap Paper
8) Fixative
