Class Description
Following on from the Colour Wheel class you will discover several popular colour mixes that will enhance your paintings. Most find the mixing of greens a terrible problem and end up with garish greens. Even artists of long-standing still struggle with this problem. In this lesson you will learn: 1. How to mix various believable greens for trees 2. How to mix believable grass fields 3. Paint a picture using all these using a bland over-green photograph as reference

I love this class for mixing greens. Dennis is brilliant at mixing colors and helping me figure out my colors. I took this years ago but got it again to review my color mixing so I can later apply it to Nolan’s acrylics which I’m trying to switch from oils/watercolors to learn acrylics but need to go back to Dennis’ lessons for colors because that’s where I first learned it. Paint Basket is a priceless resource for me. Plus, I love “hanging out” with Nolan and Dennis.
