I began to draw years ago and then life got in the way. Now that I am back, on occasion, I run into a subject that stymies me…..and I search for someone who can give me “fresh eyes;” a new visual direction. I have never seen anyone who could so quickly reduce a complex subject, such as this, into a simple and easily understood model, as Nolan does here. Just run a YouTube search and compare the results based on the reference photos. Really clear, clean, concise,….. extraordinary………Thank you.

I loved this class! I have always wanted to draw the sea but didn’t know how to attempt getting the waves, splashes, and movement of the water onto paper. I was truly impressed with how well Nolan’s instructions resulted in one of the best drawings I’ve done!

The class for breaking waves was very well done Nolan, the teacher, explained step by step from start to finish explains tips and tricks. What pencils and equiptment to use for the class . Thoroughly recommend this class and paint basket.
I have been a member of paint basket since 2012 with a two year gap . No other online art classes , that I have seen, comes up to scratch
