Class Description

In this lesson we are going to paint a rowing boat moored and covered after a hard day’s fishing.

In this lesson you will learn:

1. How to paint the reflections in the water
2. How to render the planking of the boat.
3. How to simplify the background
4. How to brighten up the sunlit areas for impact.
5. What to leave out and what to add in for interest.

For the class you will need:

#10, #8, #6 and #4 flat bristle brushes
.05mm Black waterproof pen
Small round bristle brush.
Titanium White, Dioxazine Purple, Raw Umber, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, French Ultramarine, Arylamide Yellow (Cad Yellow), Cad Orange
