Class Description

In this oil painting class we will learn how to paint realistic tree textures. For the class we will paint a beautiful side lit autumn park bench under an oak tree.

During the class you will learn:

1) How to paint a misty background
2) How to paint a realistic bark effect
3) How to paint leaves with various lighting effects
4) How to paint long grass
5) How to paint a park bench with weathered wood

The class is suitable for beginner to experienced artists

I will be painting in oil for this class but you can follow along in acrylic as well.

For the class you will need :

1) 16″ x 12″ canvas
2) Titanium White, French Ultramarine, Paynes Grey, Cadmium Yellow, Cadmium Orange, Alizarin Crimson, Raw Umber, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna
3) Fine round brush
4) 1cm Soft Filbert brush
5) Set of bristle brushes (preferably old)
6) Bristle fan brush
7) Fine liner
8) Rigger brush
9) Masking Tape
